Compensation Analyst
The interview process was pretty standard. I had a recruiter call first, which had to be rescheduled, but I'm not totally sure why. It took about three weeks to get that done, and then another month passed before I had two interviews with the team and the leader. After those, I never heard back, even though I emailed the recruiter and the coordinator twice.

Welcome Call Specialist
They send emails and messages to schedule interviews, all handled by a recruiter. The recruiter first asks for your computer specifications and then asks some basic questions. There's an initial call to let you know about open campaigns. If you're scheduled for a video call interview, the recruiter will let you know if you've advanced to the final interview.

Payroll Specialist
So, first, the HR and the Payroll hiring manager, they look at the applications to see who's a good fit based on what you've done and what you know. Then, if they like your application, a recruiter might give you a quick call or video chat to just double-check things from your resume, make sure you're still interested, and see how you communicate.

Product Manager
A contract recruiter reached out in April 2021. After a quick phone screen, I was passed to a coordinator who set up the interviews. The first was a tech screening with a PM, followed by one-on-one meetings with leaders, like a co-founder and the head of product. These felt like typical values-based interviews, no tricky questions. The interviewers were all nice, and it felt like a real conversation. But things got weird by July. After all those interviews, the recruiter said they wanted to move forward but needed the hiring manager to meet me first, so they could vet their new team members. I agreed, and the interview finally happened in August after some scheduling issues. It was a good chat, and I was really starting to like the idea of joining Porch. A couple weeks later, an "executive recruiter" took over. They said there was a lot of planning for 2022 and I should expect to hear back in 6-8 weeks. I told them I was still interested. In October 2021, I got an email survey about my experience. When I followed up with the recruiter, the email bounced. I found out on LinkedIn they'd left the company, so I assume their account closure triggered the survey. My application felt mishandled, but the actual interview process was decent when it worked. It's a bummer to think the job was still an option, only to be ghosted.
