First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Pipedrive.
Backend Engineer
It was a pretty straightforward and easy process. Started with an HR screening, then an interview with the Engineering Manager, followed by a home challenge. After that, I had to present the home challenge. Finally, an offer was extended. The whole thing was quite fast, and they provided quick feedback between each step. Overall, a great experience.

- Can you walk me through your home challenge?
- What were your thought processes and decisions behind the home challenge?
Account Manager
The process has 4 steps. First, a call with the hiring manager. Then, an assessment test. After that, a business case presentation to the team, followed by two more steps. The process is straightforward, with clear information and all necessary details shared. They respond to questions. The interviewers were great and made me feel comfortable. Unfortunately, we couldn't move forward for other reasons, but they kindly had a call to discuss it, leaving the door open for future collaboration.
- What is the size of your portfolio?
Product Manager
The hiring process took a few months and included exercises and interviews. It kicked off with a cognitive test, followed by an initial interview, then a whiteboard exercise, and finally a management interview. The whiteboard exercise, which involved collaborating with a real team on a video call to solve customer problems, was likely the most challenging part.
- Could you elaborate on your past experience?
- What motivates your interest in joining our company?
Financial Analyst
The process was quite long. I first met with HR, then the VP of FP&A, then a Senior Financial Analyst, and finally the Controller. They also make you take an assessment through Criteria Corp, which takes about 25-30 minutes prior to any interview. In my experience, I typically receive an offer if I go through every round of an interview. I asked for feedback and was told that they didn't think I was a good culture fit - even though my skills, experience and knowledge was good. That's a weird answer, although I appreciate their honesty. It just seems like something that could've been picked up on earlier in the process and saved us all time.
- Can you describe your previous positions?
- What motivates your interest in joining Pipedrive?
- How do you perceive Pipedrive's advantages over its competitors?
