The hiring process took a few months and included exercises and interviews. It kicked off with a cognitive test, followed by an initial interview, then a whiteboard exercise, and finally a management interview. The whiteboard exercise, which involved collaborating with a real team on a video call to solve customer problems, was likely the most challenging part.

Behavioral Case Technical Presentation

So, there were three rounds in total. First up was a recruiter chat to see if my background and experience were a good fit. Then, a technical interview where I had to do a case study and tackle a product challenge. Finally, I met with the hiring manager for some behavioral questions and to chat about how I approach product management.

The interview process began with a chat with HR and a lead PM. We covered the basics, like my past experience, cultural fit, and how I work and how that fits into their picture. Then, I got a take-home assignment. It was pretty broad but had enough structure to guide me. After they reviewed it, I presented it to the PM team. There was a Q&A afterward about the assignment and some broader PM topics. The final step was meeting with the VP of Product. They talked about the company's and product team's vision, giving me a better sense of where things are going. Honestly, everyone was super nice throughout the whole thing.
