A terrible and extremely elongated process where you don't hear for weeks on end from either the recruiter or the people you talk to. Felt like they themselves weren't sure who they wanted to hire and strung me along for almost 2 months. The conversations I had with a lot of the managers were mostly about fit and the kind of work I have been doing which they seemed very interested in and even mentioned how it was more or less a "done deal" to hire me and were just waiting to get the right team to match only to be ghosted by the recruiter who then eventually told me that the team liked me but could not find the "right team" but yet would still like to keep me on hold - whatever that means. Poor response times, average salary bands, and terrible management on the hiring front implying OSI might not be the best place to work or change your career for.

It was an average interview that included basic electrical engineering and transmission concepts, along with aptitude tests. Then there was an HR and Manager interview, making it a total of 5 rounds. They also asked technical questions, instrumental engineering questions, and about the basics of SCADA.

It started with a 15min phone screening call with basic questions. Then, after a 3-4 week silence, they reached out to schedule a 4-round interview process. This included a meeting with the software engineering team manager, another with the software engineering director, a session with HR to discuss benefits (which wasn't really an interview), and finally, a technical assessment with a software engineer. I received an offer two weeks after the last interview.

The interview process started with a phone interview that covered general electrical and computer engineering topics. If they liked my profile, I was invited for an on-campus interview which involved meeting with different teams for more in-depth discussions to determine potential fit. I wouldn't recommend this company though, due to some major red flags I noticed. The phone interview with the Senior Manager was very condescending, like he thought he knew everything. Also, the HR department took a whole month to respond about scheduling the next interviews, even after I provided my availability for the upcoming week. The final offer was also significantly lower than the market rate.
