I applied after a career fair and surprisingly got a call back over 3 months later, asking if I was still interested in a different role. We then set up a phone interview with a manager. That call included behavior questions and some basic Java questions about linked lists and array lists. A week after that, I had a 5-hour on-site interview. It was split into sections where I spoke with HR VP, HR manager, a VP, and a developer lead. I also got a campus tour. Two weeks after the on-site, I received an offer.

The hiring process felt pretty chill, everyone seemed to know their stuff. My phone interview went great and they moved me to an onsite. They weren't going to cover travel, but they offered to wait until I was back home to do the interview. The onsite itself was okay, talked to some directors and VPs. There was a code review/skills test part. The interviewer was pretty strict, asking for super detailed explanations of everything I put on the board. My main issue with OSI isn't the interview itself, the people were nice and honest, but after the interview, I got ghosted for 3 weeks even though they said I'd hear back in 1-2 weeks. I'm bummed I didn't get the job, but not hearing back at all after sending follow-up emails and calling HR is really unprofessional.

So I had this 30-minute phone call where they asked me some general dev questions, like asking about a tough problem I solved. Then they set up a few more hours of interviews. First, I talked to the recruiter about benefits and stuff. Then, I met with two managers who discussed the company and wanted to hear about a project I did. After that, I had a round with verbal algorithm questions, like how you'd sort a list and the complexity. Then a developer gave me a simple technical assessment. Finally, there was a proctored online test with logic and personality questions.
