First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at NoRedInk.
Account Executive
The hiring process had 3 main parts: first, a video interview that you record yourself, then a team interview, and finally a live demo. After the last interview, they asked for references and then I got the offer. If you want to do well, make sure you are ready to talk about your previous sales work, how you sell, and how you think you can help the company.
- Can you tell me what makes you stand out from others?
- Tell me about a unique aspect of yourself.
- What's the most distinctive thing about you?
Training Specialist
The interview process involved: 1st, a phone screening. 2nd, I had to create and submit a lesson plan on a given topic. 3rd, an interview with the hiring manager. 4th, an interview with the team, which included a demo. 5th, a final interview. I got a generic rejection email between steps 4 and 5, which felt discourteous after investing four hours and creating a bespoke lesson plan.
- Design a lesson plan that is multimodal and cross-curricular for the assigned topic.
Software Engineer
It was a great experience. It was indeed a long interview with many steps, but it was all fun and enriching. The team was great, the technical interview didn't exert as much pressure as they normally do. I found all the interviewers really easy to talk to and work with, they were open and communicative. With that in mind, though I had 5 interviews total: - one with the recruiter - 3 technical ones with different members of the team - one with the manager
- Regarding the technical interviews, were you asked to do some data processing?
- Were you asked to implement a system?
- Were you asked to design an API?
Sales Development Representative
My interview with NoRedInk was super smooth. The recruiter was really upfront and worked with me on scheduling. They kept me in the loop after each step, which was awesome. The whole thing took about a month, starting with a quick chat, then a short email task, followed by an interview with the sales manager, a mock sales call, a grit interview, meeting the team, and finally, a chat with the VP of sales. I loved the experience and got a clear picture of the company culture, the job, and the people.
- Can you tell me your motivation for pursuing a career in sales?
- What would you say are your biggest strengths?
- What areas do you feel you need to develop further?
