The initial screening was pretty standard, lots of behavioral questions, but they really hammered home the quota stuff, like 5 times. The whole process at NRI feels like it takes forever. I didn't get past it, but honestly, it's probably a good thing. It went like this: 1. Screening interview 2. Take home exercise where you write about your work history and experience with renewals 3. Interview with the hiring manager 4. Product demo 5. Behavioral interview 6. Interview with an executive 7. offer and reference checks.

The hiring journey at No Red Ink was super organized, gave me lots of info, and was really engaging. It really gave me a good feel for the company and what being a customer success manager here is all about. The recruiter who was my main point of contact was awesome and made the whole thing even better with her help and support. I'm really excited about the possibility of joining this great company. First, I had an initial chat with the recruiter who wanted to get to know my background and what I'm looking for. They also gave me a full rundown of the company and the job. Then, I did a written task which was a good way to show off my skills and knowledge in a practical way. It was a well-thought-out task that let me highlight what I can do as a customer success manager. After that, I interviewed with the Manager of Customer Success. This was a good talk where we went deeper into my experience and how I'd fit into the team. Next up was a team presentation task, which was a chance to show how I can present to a team and my experience in this role. It was a fun challenge where I got to display my knowledge of the content, plus my communication and problem-solving skills. Finally, I had an interview with the Lead of Customer Success. This was my last chat with a senior person on the customer success team. It was really helpful because I got to talk about the role in detail with the manager. He asked some smart questions that let me show I understand customer success and how I line up with what the company wants to achieve. All in all, the hiring process at No Red Ink was a top-notch experience. It was really well-planned, informative, and fun. I'm thankful for the recruiter's help and guidance all the way, and I can't wait to join this amazing company!

I went through 8 steps in the interview process. First, there was an initial phone screen with the CS Manager. Then, I completed a demo emails activity. After that, I had a secondary phone screen with a direct report. This was followed by a video demo of the product with two CS team members. Next, I had an onsite lunch with the CS team. Following the lunch, I had an onsite Q/A with the Head of People. Then, I had an onsite experience review with the VP of Sales. Finally, I had a video call with the CEO.
