Behavioral Technical

The job scope was explained ambiguously, and even after asking for clarification, the responses stayed broad. I applied for Job A, but the discussion mostly revolved around responsibilities similar to Job B, which didn't quite match the original job description. For instance, some questions were about persuading customers to switch solutions, which felt more like a pre-sales or consulting role instead of an operations-focused one. Also, many questions were very theoretical and not very practical. Some of these topics can be interpreted differently and are often discussed conceptually, but might not always represent daily operations.

  • Would you be able to develop or implement the solution even if the necessary resources were limited or not provided?
  • What if I asked you to convince customers to change solutions?

Behavioral

It was a phone screening call, but it was the worst experience I've ever had in my entire life. The person was condescending and decided right off the bat that I am underqualified for the role. When she heard what I was earning, she asked me to do a market survey and mentioned that someone with the same number of years of experience as me is earning 30 to 40% lower than what I am getting. It wasn't my fault that my current company pays me well. I didn't even ask for any advice or reality check. The call was just weird.

Behavioral Group Presentation

So the first step was an HR call just to understand my background. Then, we had a group interview with a panel of interviewers, which was to see how adaptive I am when they throw random questions and how I compete with other interviewees. The final round was an interview with a Senior Partner and Partner/Snr Director to see if I'm really up for the role.

Technical Coding Other

I applied online and then HR reached out for more info. After that, there was a face-to-face online technical interview with an Automation specialist. First, I introduced myself, then we moved to a coding exercise on a website using a tool I preferred. I chose Playwright and TypeScript. Following that, there was a multiple-choice question session on Codility, covering Object-Oriented programming concepts, testing methodologies, Git, and pipelines.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • Could you tell me about your specialization and your experience with building frameworks from the ground up?
  • How comfortable are you with writing a framework from scratch?
