First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at National Debt Relief.
Debt Negotiator
I had a really good experience interviewing. I talked to three people, and it all seemed well-planned. The recruiter who first messaged me on Indeed was always on time, kept in touch, and was clear about everything. All the emails had easy-to-follow instructions, which helped me feel ready for each part. The process had an initial chat and then a final talk with the hiring manager. Setting up the times was simple, with clear links and directions. It all happened pretty fast and smoothly, with no confusion or delays.
- Can you describe a time when circumstances changed without your control and how you responded?
Sales Representative
Great experience, very knowledgeable. Come prepared and ready to sell yourself as it is an interview. Make sure you are in a well-lit area, with no noise, and looking great. Make sure to ask questions at the end when they offer you the floor, even if they're about what they've already explained about the job. Ask no less than 3 questions, but the more you ask, the more interest you show in the job role.
- Can you tell me about your recent experiences?
- Do you have experience in debt relief?
Client Loyalty Learning & Development Director
This was an A+ experience! I went through 5 rounds of interviews, and the whole process from application to offer took exactly 3 weeks. The recruiter, Justin, was excellent, setting clear expectations and debriefing after each interview within 24 hours. Compared to other less-than-stellar interview experiences I've had, this felt really smooth and professional. I would have been satisfied even without the offer because my time felt genuinely valued.
- Can you provide an overview of your resume?
- Describe an experience where you had to terminate an employee.
- How would you handle pushback against senior leader requests that could overload the team?
Director of CRO
I had 2 interviews, one with recruiting and one with the VP of Marketing... and then they ghosted me. No call, email, test, or LinkedIn DM. The interviews seemed to go well. At least well enough to warrant a "hey it was great to meet you, thank you for your time, but we don't think you're the best match." I know their time is valuable, but so is mine. I don't appreciate feeling like a few hours of my time was taken and then ignored.
