Customer Service Representative
The interview process was pretty straightforward when the company was still very small. First, I had a one-on-one with HR, and after that, I was hired. I started about 2 weeks later and then had to do a group training with about 14 people. Out of the 14 people that started the training, only about 7 people were hired. I must stress, the training is very easy. A lot of the eliminations were due to stupid behavior, like one person falling asleep on the 3rd day of the training. There is also a test at the end of the training class which is pretty easy. I was allowed to type my notes using my chrome book.
- Tell me about the most challenging situation you've encountered as a customer service representative.
- What do you dislike most about working in an office environment?
- What are your strongest qualities?
Customer Service Representative
First, there were some questions about my customer service expertise and my skills with Word and Excel. Then, they told me about the company. After that, I was asked to wait for a team leader who then asked me about my customer service skills. It was a casual conversation. Then, they left, and I waited for about 5 minutes. The original interviewer returned and told me to watch out for an email to find out if I got the job.
- How proficient are you with Excel?
- Tell me about your expertise in customer service.
- What are your skills related to customer service?
Customer Service Representative
The interview was pretty unexciting, the interviewer lacked enthusiasm for the company and didn't seem thrilled to interview me. It felt like my personality wasn't a good fit for the company. There wasn't much security in the hiring process. The plan was to train me and then potentially offer me a position, which I wasn't keen on since I wouldn't leave my full-time job for a uncertain opportunity. The interviewer also appeared disorganized.
- Can you tell me about a time a customer interaction didn't go as planned?
