First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Morgan McKinley.
Recruiter
It's a multi-stage interview process. First, there's a recruiter call where we discuss the role, the company's clients, and commission structure. Then, the hiring manager will want to chat about your career history and what you can bring to the role. After that, there are two more managers who you'll meet with, and this part of the process will be in the office.
- Tell me about how you handle pressure.
Safety Specialist
My interview process for the Safety Specialist role at Airbnb involved just one round of interviews with Safety Supervisors and Managers. This was a refreshing change from the usual four rounds at other companies, which can sometimes feel unnecessary and tiring. Before this, I had a helpful recruiter call to assist with my preparation.
- Can you describe a situation where you dealt with a challenging user interaction?
Software Engineer
So at Morgan McKinley, the interview process usually has a few rounds. It starts with you introducing yourself and then they ask you stuff about your background, what you're good at, and your strengths. They really want to know about how you work with others, solve problems, and manage clients. Typical questions might be about your strong and weak points, dealing with disagreements, and what drives you. They'll probably ask for stories where you led a team or worked well with others. The interviews are kinda medium tough, with some technical and behavioral parts depending on the exact job.
- Can you share an instance where you disagreed with a coworker and how you resolved it?
Operations Director
It was a four stage process. I had to do a presentation on the market and discuss how I would grow market share and the team. I met with 8 senior directors in total. The environment was relaxed which helps you perform well but they are serious about their work.
- What would be your top three strategies to boost market share?
- Who do you consider to be your competitors?
