& Process

It was a pretty good, interesting, and empowering interview process. It began with a casual but professional phone chat with the hiring manager where we discussed my background and what I was looking for. Then, I had an in-person meeting with the same manager where we dug deeper into my previous deals, industry experience, recruitment roles, and personality. It was a two-way conversation, so I also asked about the company, its culture, and his expectations. He then arranged for me to meet the director, which also went well. We covered similar topics, and I was open about both my successes and failures, which was received positively. A few days later, I met with another Manager who focused more on my motivations and what drives me. Following that, I got an offer to sign a contract.

I did meet a few different people before I was made the job offer. Did mean a few trips to the office however it did mean I got a strong sense of each area before joining.

We kicked off with introductions, and they wanted to know why I'm looking to join the company and what interests me about the role. We also discussed my commitment level and working style, and they shared some info about the industry demographics.
