I found an ad for a researcher role with Morgan McKinley's banking/commercial & industry team and applied online. A recruiter from Morgan McKinley called me two days later for a nice chat. We then scheduled an in-person meeting at their office where I met two senior managers and a consultant. We discussed my background, their expectations, and how Morgan McKinley differs from other agencies. This was helpful since I was new to recruitment. They shared different views on the role, giving me a better sense of the industry. A few days later, I was invited for a second interview with consultants from other teams. It was just as pleasant, and I met more people, which is important for understanding the company culture. A few days after that, Morgan McKinley offered me the researcher position, and I accepted immediately.

The process was pretty straightforward. I started with a recruiter chat, and then had two separate interviews. One was with the Research Manager, and the other with the department Director. Both chats were easy-going, and I got to discuss my background and skills and ask whatever questions I had. They did a good job explaining the job itself and the team's projects, so I really understood what the role would be like. Overall, it was a good interview experience.

The interview process started with a phone screen, followed by a meeting with the Managing Director. Then I was invited back to meet with Senior Managers and the team I'd be working with. An induction session happened after that. It was a very personality-focused interview. The whole thing took about a month, and they were generally quick to provide feedback.
