Customer Success Manager
I was contacted by a recruiter to set up an interview. But, about 10 minutes after it was supposed to start, I got an email saying he was having issues and wanted to reschedule. I followed up a bunch of times, but he never got back to me with a new time. Unexpected things happen, but this was pretty unprofessional.
- The recruiter scheduled an interview but then failed to attend.
Technical Engineer
It was a Technical Engineer Role (Java+SQL) for someone with 2.5 years of experience. There were 3 rounds in total. The first round was a Technical Round where they asked questions on Core Java, SQL, and one coding question. The second round was a mix of Technical and Managerial, with more Core Java questions and a question on SQL performance tuning, along with discussion about my current project. The third round was Managerial, focusing more on behavioural aspects.

- SQL: How do you tune sql for queries for better performance
Accounts Receivable Specialist
The interview process was very transparent and a good intake overall. I'm looking forward to joining the role, as Accounts Receivable is the best role in Accounting. The role involves maintaining receipt details for cash applications for every customer and sharing them with the Senior Accountant for recording. It also includes preparing and generating monthly aging reports to track outstanding balances, providing regular updates to the manager on accounts receivable status and collection progress, and maintaining and updating customer account information in the financial system. Assistance with Month/Quarter/Year End audits, including assessing over 90 days and reserving bad debt allowances, is also part of the responsibilities.
- Can you tell me a bit about yourself?
People Specialist
After I applied online, the process took a bit of time. It included a couple of phone interviews. I had a really good interview with the hiring manager. He was super nice and helpful. Right away, he made me feel comfortable by telling me to just be myself and not be nervous. He took his time to explain the interview structure and what he was looking for. The questions were tough, but he was good at helping me through them, even pausing so I could write down the question, think, and then answer. I didn't get the job, but I've connected with the manager on LinkedIn and feel good about waiting for another opportunity at the company.
