So, first I had a call with a recruiter, lasted about 15 minutes, just to chat about my background and see if it fit what mc2i was looking for. Then, the next step was an interview with a Consultant. After that, I had a second interview, in person, with either a Partner or an Unit Director. The very last chat was with someone from the Management team.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

The hiring process took five weeks and included three consecutive interviews with a Senior Consultant, a Manager, and then a Senior Partner. Everything went well, and HR didn't mention any issues. However, it's confusing to be rejected at the final stage for lacking experience, especially since MC2I claims to hire recent graduates. While this criterion is valid, it should have been mentioned earlier. I still appreciate the professionalism and quality of the conversations. On the other hand, the HR communication lacked clarity and flow, which negatively impacted the overall perception of the process.

Behavioral Technical

The interview process was quite long, with an initial HR call followed by three interviews with managers or partners. It felt like a lengthy procedure for feedback that wasn't very constructive or understanding. I had an interview with a manager that seemed to go really well, with lots of questions asked to gauge my interest in the company's activities. But then, the feedback was that I had a 'gap' in my CV regarding the 'technical' aspect of the role, which is odd for a consultant position, not an engineering one. Also, it seems their standard feedback and preference is about 'lack of curiosity,' which I've seen in other reviews and appears to be an excuse to reject candidates.

Recruitment process in 3 steps: RH phone interview, interview with a senior manager via video, and an in-person interview with a partner. The first two steps went really well, I got great feedback from HR. But when I came in for the in-person partner interview, I quickly realized my profile wasn't what the partner was looking for. They debriefed me afterward, saying I was too marketing-oriented and they were looking for more "information system" profiles. It would have been better not to have me go through the interviews since my CV hadn't changed between stages.
