Sales Associate
Pretty standard process. It has a couple of questions and 2 case studies. You'll need to know your stuff really well. Prepare thoroughly and best of luck! It's a great place to work.
- How would you go about implementing AI in our company?
- Should AI be integrated into all channels, or not?
- If AI is not implemented in all channels, what are the reasons for this decision, and which channels would you exclude?
Web Developer
It started with a 30 min phone call with an hr rep and two developers. This was a call to discuss my skills and ask some questions about the company. The interviewers were very polite and had great information to share. The second interview was an in-person interview at their headquarters. Here I was able to meet some of the team members I could be working with. This interview consisted of a collaborative test, where I was being tested on my developer skills and ability to learn. After the test we discussed questions and different aspects of the work life at Malouf.
- What makes you want to work at Malouf?
- What are your salary expectations?
- Which tech stack are you most comfortable with?
E-Commerce Operations Administrator
I saw the E-Commerce Operations Administrative job post on the Malouf website and applied directly. A phone interview was requested within a couple of days. After finishing the phone interview, I got a call the same day to set up an in-person interview for the following week. I had the in-person interview and got a call the day after offering me the job.
- Could you describe how your past work experience aligns with and would help you fulfill the responsibilities of this role?
- What strategies do you employ to maintain organization in your work?
- Can you explain your ability to manage tasks effectively under deadlines and prioritize workload?
International Trade Compliance
I had a Zoom interview for this position. The interviewers were really condescending and brought up that I had applied for other Supply Chain roles and asked why I wanted to leave my current job. When I told them it was an internship and not expected to become full-time, they didn't believe me. They were very rude and I never heard back from them. My other interviews with them were similar. It's disappointing because they advertise a great work environment, but the interviewers were demeaning. I'm glad I didn't end up working there, it seemed like it wouldn't have been my dream company after all, and their image isn't accurate.
- Can you tell me about yourself and your experience with international supply chains?
