Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Malouf Careers.
Customer Experience Specialist
The whole thing took about a month and a half, it was pretty in-depth. Started with a 30-minute phone chat, then moved to an hour-long meeting, and wrapped up with a 2-hour lunch interview.
- Can you share an instance where you had to resolve a disagreement with a colleague?
Customer Experience Specialist
The phone interview was easy, and when I got to the second interview, which was in person, they were very nice and even gave me a free Malouf pillow for coming. It was a really great interview experience.
- Can you explain what makes you a strong candidate for this role?
- What's your favorite vacation spot?
- Tell me about a time you dealt with a challenging customer.
Customer Experience Specialist
First they set up a phone interview. Then there were two in-person interviews, for two different departments. I got to the second in-person interview for the first department. For the second department, I only had a phone interview. They give you a pillow if you make it to the in-person interview.
- Tell me about a time you disagreed with a coworker or manager.
