Software Engineer
So the interviews had a few meetings. First, I talked with HR, then the head of engineering and a team lead, and finally the CEO. My interviews were structured like this: first, they assessed my education and experience, then we had a technical discussion and assessment, and finally, we talked about soft skills and my drive.
- Questions about Javascript.
- Questions about list manipulation.
- Questions about backend schema.
Software Developer
I had a few choices for when to do the interview. Honestly, it was the best interview experience I've had. It felt like a really open chat, a conversation where we both got to know each other. I was definitely evaluating them too. The questions were in-depth and straightforward. They seemed genuinely interested in understanding who I am and what I'm capable of. I really liked the whole process.
- Describe a situation where you were responsible for integrating new software into a department.
Software Engineer
I was reached out to via email for an in-person interview. We talked about my skills. They asked me about my experience with a certain language, and I was upfront about what I knew and my willingness to learn, which I think they appreciated. The HR team was great at keeping me updated throughout the process. However, it did take a bit longer than expected to find out who got the job.
