Legal Counsel
I went through three interview rounds: first a call with the recruiter, then a chat with the hiring manager, and finally a panel interview with some of the team members. The whole thing was pretty standard and ran pretty smoothly. They were organized but also friendly, which was a plus. On the flip side, the recruiter's communication was a bit all over the place. He'd just call without setting it up first instead of using email, and sometimes it took a while to get a response or an update. So, while the process itself was normal, the way they communicated wasn't as professional or polished as I've seen elsewhere.
- Can you share your experience with contract negotiation?
Channel Marketing Manager
I had an HR screening call first, which was neutral. The recruiter asked standard questions, but seemed uninterested in the process. The next round was with the hiring manager, and she was very personable and easy to chat with. I ended up getting a rejection email, but the process took an exponential amount of time and communication was minimal. From the time I received my email noting an interview request, to the time I was rejected, took a whole month with just a recruiter screen and one interview. I asked for feedback on why I wasn’t selected/anything I can do to improve, and I got crickets. No reply. I would definitely recommend working on hiring communication, as it currently feels dehumanizing.
- Can you share an instance where you leveraged data to enhance a marketing campaign?
Mental Health Coach
I applied and didn't hear back for 9 months, but then got an email for an interview. I had a one-on-one interview that week and then a mock session and group interview with 2 coach supervisors a few days later. I got good feedback and specific details about what to expect. A few weeks later, I got an email saying I wasn't moving forward for this round but could be considered for a spring onboarding class. I asked for feedback but got no response. The person I initially interviewed with explained they have a long turnaround time due to a backlog.
- Is the platform ACT-focused?
Data Scientist
The first round was a 60-minute technical interview with a senior data scientist or data engineer, covering technical questions for 30 minutes and coding (SQL, Python) for another 30 minutes. The second round involved a 3-interview loop: two behavioral interviews with cross-functional team members (product, UX), and a case study presentation to a panel of 6 DS/science managers for team fit. The final round was a behavioral/career discussion with the director of data.
