First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Lucky Brand.
Assistant Manager
The interview process felt pretty laid-back. I chatted with the DM. I owned my own business back then, and they really dug into the details of it, even checking out my business cards and scanning the QR codes to visit the website.
- Can you share your leadership experience within sales?
- Describe your leadership style.
- What about our brand appeals to you?
Sales Associate
It was a relaxed interview and the person interviewing me was super nice and made me feel comfortable. They asked pretty standard stuff like "tell me about yourself" and "strengths and weaknesses." Honestly, this interview felt way less stressful than others I've had, and the vibe of the workplace seemed really good!
- Can you tell me about your strengths and weaknesses?
Shift Supervisor
The interview was over the phone, but it was still pretty tough. I talked with managers from different levels, most of whom I hadn't met before. You need to be ready to give specific stories about challenges you've handled. They really want you to use the STAR method for your answers. Also, expect them to question you further after you answer.
- Can you share an instance where you de-escalated a situation involving a challenging customer?
- Tell me about a time you introduced a new procedure and what the outcome was.
- Provide specific examples of challenges you've encountered and successfully managed.
Assistant Store Manager
I saw the Assistant Store Manager job on LinkedIn and reached out to the district manager. She invited me to the store to chat. Later that week, I met with her. Then, I met with the store manager, and we did a selling drill where I picked out outfits. The regional manager also happened to be there, so I met him too. They wanted to ensure I'd be happy working there. I got a call back three days later.
- Would you be comfortable coaching employees?
