Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Lucky Brand.
Sales Associate
I had one interview the day after they called me. It was easy. They asked me standard questions about dealing with difficult customers or conflicts with coworkers, and my strengths in retail jobs.
- How would you manage an unhappy customer?
- What is your procedure for handling returns of items without tags or receipts?
Sales Associate
It was a relaxed interview and the person interviewing me was super nice and made me feel comfortable. They asked pretty standard stuff like "tell me about yourself" and "strengths and weaknesses." Honestly, this interview felt way less stressful than others I've had, and the vibe of the workplace seemed really good!
- Can you tell me about your strengths and weaknesses?
Sales Associate
The interview process was conversational and included a styling interview, plus an informational tour of the store. This was all in the first and only interview. A lot of questions were asked about what you see in the brand and why you feel confident that you could sell it to customers.
- Could you style three distinct outfits for three separate occasions they provide?
- What are your observations about the brand?
- Why do you believe you can effectively sell this brand to customers?
