I had one phone call with the regional manager that lasted about 30 minutes. We talked about my experience, my strengths, my weaknesses, what my interests and habits are, what I bring to the company, whether I prefer working with a team, and how I motivate my team.

The interview process started with an HR interview, which went really well. Then there was a Zoom interview with the manager and a colleague, and that also went great. In the final interview, the manager didn't seem very open. They had me complete a compliance task, which was fair enough, but then they hinted that I should have used ChatGPT for it at the end. I did the task to the best of my ability and thought I performed well. It did cross my mind to use ChatGPT, but since it was a compliance role, I felt it would be unethical and didn't want to cross any lines. It wasn't meant to be, and that's okay.

The interview process here is awful, honestly. The recruiter and hiring manager interviews were fine. They gave me a detailed assessment to complete, which I put a lot of effort into. I sent them my portfolio and the assessment, and then got completely ghosted. I followed up more than three times and even tried calling. It's really unprofessional, especially for a company that sells such nice jewelry, to treat candidates like this. They need to realize candidates use their PTO and vacation time for interviews and spend evenings working on social media assessments, which isn't always a standard request when you already have a portfolio. It honestly made me not want the job anymore. Definitely avoid this place.
