I went through 7 rounds for a Junior Graphic Designer role. It included HR, a Design Case Study, Team Lead, Marketing Manager, People Ops, a Personality Test, Marketing Lead, and finally the CEO. After all these and a final reference call, I got rejected for 'minor concerns' that should have been sorted in round one. Making a junior candidate go through this many stages in 2026 is ridiculous. It seems the company is disorganized and unsure of what they need. Your hiring is messed up; stop wasting people's time and make your process faster and more respectful.

The interview process was wonderful. I appreciate it when companies move at a fast pace with interviews. Meaning, you have an interview today, and you get an update by tomorrow or the next day at the latest. It prevents having more stress than your current dosage of it. Everyone was extremely welcoming, appreciative, friendly, and receptive to my thought process, ideas, and experience. Looking forward to building great memories at Leapsome and growing together.

Behavioral Technical Presentation Case Other

I applied for a 12-month maternity cover as a PR and Communications Manager in early April, aiming for a May 1st start. The interview process was quick and well-organized, but felt overly complicated with eight steps over three weeks. It included a recruiter call, a timed logic and math test without a calculator or extra tabs, a behavioral assessment with situational questions, a two-hour case study submitted by email, a technical interview with the incumbent and two team members, a presentation on my journey and values alignment, a "Culture Add and Values Fit" interview with someone from another team where I presented my deck and answered more behavioral questions, and finally, an interview with a Co-CEO involving on-the-spot creative ideas and an event strategy. References were requested before the final interview. I was rejected via email after the last step, with impersonal feedback despite my significant investment.

Technical Case Presentation

So, this was one of the weirdest and most impersonal interview processes I've ever gone through. First, before I even spoke to anyone on the team, I had to do this CCAT test, which had a cognitive part (like math, verbal, visual stuff) and a personality part. The personality test felt like it was checking if I could fit into a rigid mindset, kind of like an MBTI. I don't know, maybe I'm just out of the loop because the company is in Germany, but I thought these kinds of tests were just online stories. Was I time-traveling to the 90s for a call center job? After passing that CCAT thing, I had to do a timed case study, and I still hadn't met anyone from the team! This case study involved creating a whole media plan with strategies for different channels, plus two other parts, and I only had 3 hours for it all. In the end, I got rejected because they said the media plan wasn't detailed enough, even though the instructions literally said 'Bells and whistles are not required :)'. Seriously, who expects a full media plan in just 3 hours?
