Customer Success Manager
It was a straightforward first round screen with the recruiter, who was based in Germany. They asked basic questions about my experience and then a few situational 'tell me about a time' type questions. I felt I did well, but wasn't moved forward. The recruiter was pleasant to talk to, though.

Customer Success Manager
The interview process consists of many many rounds: (1) recruiter screen, (2) case study + product demo + role-specific questions with a member of the CS team (3) self-presentation + behavioral questions by a member from the PM team (4) behavioral interview with hiring manager (5) check-in with recruiter (6) interview with co-founder (7) two reference calls. People generally seemed kind and all subscribed to the "purpose/values" driven culture, without things feeling too culty. As others have stated, interviews felt more like reading questions off a script, with the same questions being asked over and over again. What ultimately made me drop out of the process was the salary and job level offered, after speaking to the hiring manager in round 4 (!). The salary would have been almost 40% lower than what I had initially discussed in round 1 with the recruiter. While this would have been insulting to anyone, I (a Black woman) could not help but wonder whether (unconscious) bias on part of the hiring manager was at play here. While I will never know for sure, LinkedIn shows that Leapsome currently only employs 1 Black person in their global organization of 140. I will be taking my big hair and skills to another organization which values my time and contributions.

Customer Success Manager
Okay so I had this interview experience which was absolutely terrible. I spent about 3.5 hours interviewing and they even asked me to get my references ready, only to send a generic rejection email after I met with the founder. The founder came across as super egotistical and asked really random questions like how much data I use daily and to guess Germany's hourly data usage. All my prep and good conversations were wasted on these pointless questions! I asked for feedback from each stage, expecting positive feedback since I knew it went well, but got ZERO response. It's really unacceptable for a company that claims to give feedback quickly. Their hiring process is totally messed up. If the founder's random chat is so important, why not make it the first step so he can decide if he even likes you from the start? It's a complete waste of people's time and emotional energy. Honestly, it's disgusting and they should be ashamed. Clearly no regard for people's time or feelings. The process involved: Step 1: HR interview covering general questions about Leapsome, why I want to work there, and reasons for leaving my previous role. Step 2: Interview with the Team Lead where I got platform access beforehand to familiarize myself and then complete a case study. Step 3: A presentation about myself followed by a cultural fit interview. Step 4: Founder interview where you should expect totally random questions unrelated to the job or your skills.
