Technical Behavioral

So there was like a zoom call and then an in person one. The zoom call was basically a cv walkthrough, and then the in person one was technical plus HR stuff. The technical part involved questions about Programming Languages, like Python theory, its data types, whether it's compiled, and also about Numpy + Pandas and their functions. Then there was also a theory of ML section.

Behavioral Other

It felt like a casual conversation, very welcoming HR. It began with you introducing yourself, then they asked some follow-up questions about your interest in the bank and in finance. It was more like networking than a formal interview. My suggestion is to show enthusiasm, as they seem to look for really social individuals. Good luck!

Behavioral Presentation

Applied online and was contacted by email to attend an in-person 1-hour competency-based interview. The interview was conducted by less experienced team members. Despite receiving positive feedback, I was rejected because they wanted someone with more experience, although I later found out they hired someone with only 1 year of experience, which seemed to follow a pattern of hiring only 'native' Irish for front-office roles despite the requirement for 5 years of experience.

  • What makes you want this particular role?
