Electrician
I went through an interview with the manager, then met with a committee of managers from different departments, along with HR. They asked me about my knowledge and experience from previous companies, how long I'd expect to stay if hired, and my career growth expectations within the company.
- Can you tell us about your knowledge and experience from previous companies?
- How long do you anticipate staying with the company if you are selected?
- What are your expectations regarding growth within the company?

I applied through Gupy and was called for the regional selection in Campo Grande. Until then, the message received indicated it would be a legal knowledge test and interviews. They had us answer a written question about TST's Theme 1046, but surprisingly, you didn't need labor law knowledge to apply. It was basically to answer if it was valid or not and justify. Afterwards, they gave us a question to study, because after the break, we would answer it orally, and also do a personal presentation. The question was: in your opinion, what is the greatest contribution of precedents? Very objective. So, after hours and hours, they called a group of about 7 people and they simply didn't return, we speculated if they had been dismissed immediately. Then, they started calling 1 by 1, in an order we didn't know if it meant anything. It took so long that people left because they couldn't wait. It started at 8 am and at 1 pm there were still people to be called. When they called me, I entered a room with 5 lawyers sitting in a row and a table in front where I was supposed to sit, a competition setup like the MP. The question was totally broader and different from the one given. The legal director barely let us finish a thought and kept asking about what we were answering, causing confusion to the point we didn't know if what we were answering was right or wrong. The other lawyers didn't even look or open their mouths. The only one who asked something was about my thesis and then the questioning about something I had done years ago began. The director clearly disagreed with my approach and kept questioning me and giving examples from his point of view, again, without letting me finish my thoughts. It was awful. I found it disorganized, slow, the stages were not clear, and we didn't even know the salary. Questions that don't measure our knowledge and practical experience. Questions different from what was stated, causing discomfort and anxiety. This is a critique, because this selection method needs to be completely reviewed. We need the job and want an opportunity in a consolidated company, but treating colleagues of the profession this way is very sad.
- Could you tell me about the history of precedents in Brazil?
Production Operator
The interview for the production operator at JBS was straightforward and brief. They asked some basic things about my availability, if I had worked before, and if I could work shifts. Nothing too complicated, but they made it clear they expect punctuality and commitment. The atmosphere was a bit tense, and it felt more like a formality to confirm details than a deep dive. Overall, it was a practical experience, but not one that blew me away.
- Are you available to work on weekends?
- What is your availability for shift work?
- Do you have prior experience in this role?
Intern
The JBS internship interview process had three main parts. First, there was a recruiter screening with a talent partner who checked my resume, my interest, my general fit, and my availability. Then, we had a group interview with other candidates where we were given a puzzle to solve together. The last part was a panel interview with leaders from different departments, focusing on my leadership potential, problem-solving, and teamwork skills for driving change.
