The interview process was disappointing. I had an initial screening call with a recruiter based in Israel. The call was nice, and I was told I would receive an update within a week. It's been more than a week and a half, and my follow-ups via email and WhatsApp (which we used before) haven't been answered. I get that not everyone moves forward, that's normal. But, good communication and basic honesty are super important. Even a short message saying 'no updates yet' shows respect for the candidate's time and effort. Stuff like this matters and influences how people see a company. Sadly, this one left me with a bad feeling.

The interview process was pretty straightforward and flowed well. It started with just applying online, then I had a quick phone chat with HR about my background and the job. After that, there was a technical interview to go over my skills and how they fit the role. The last part was a panel interview with some of the senior folks on the team, and they asked me a bunch of situational and behavioral questions. Took about two weeks in total, and they kept me in the loop the whole time. The interviewers were nice and made me feel pretty relaxed.

First, I took an English assessment to check my level. Then, I had an interview with HR. After that, there was a French assessment, which was quite simple for me. This was followed by a video interview that went really well. They asked if I could start working immediately, and I said yes. The interviewer mentioned sending the contract via email. However, a few hours later, I got a rejection email stating they were moving forward with other candidates, despite having just asked about my availability. I was really surprised by this sudden change, especially since they'd expressed interest in me starting right away. I emailed them to understand why they changed their minds so quickly, but I never got a response.

The interviewer seemed to have a bad attitude from the start, never smiling or showing any enthusiasm. Her answers were vague, which made me have more questions than before. I thought maybe she was having a bad day, but her behavior was unprofessional throughout the entire interview. She barely introduced herself at the beginning, only stating her location and name before diving into the questions. Near the end, she cut the interview short by about 10 minutes and said the recruiter would follow up, without asking if I had any questions. When I asked if I could still ask some, she replied, "I only have time for 1 more question." Honestly, I wouldn't want to work for a manager like that.
