The interview process was good and a bit easy. The staff were good and helped us have a very smooth interview process. The interview consisted of 2 rounds. First was an aptitude test, after clearing which we were called for a technical round. After clearing the technical round, there was an HR round. In the HR interview, they asked some basic questions.

The interview process here can be quite variable, depending on what we need at the time. Sometimes it's a really drawn-out affair, potentially lasting three months or even longer. We don't really take recommendations. The HR team will pick out about 20 top people from LinkedIn and then begin the initial screening.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

Things went very well between all of the panel members and myself and I seemed to have a lot of the credentials and experience they wanted for the position. I asked to see the plant but due to it being a plant where batteries are made, they were reluctant but I understood. We had discussed salary prior to the first interview and I stated due to having a current position of 115,000 USD as well as less responsibilities, I would only consider the position if it was 125,000 USD which was still in the position range. They decided that was fine and interviewed me. Gave me an offer of 115,000 plus 11,000 relocation. That was very good but I am moving from a lower cost area to higher cost one six hours away across state lines and requested 4,000 more since the truck alone to move our stuff was 6,000-7,000. I also reminded them of the 125,000 salary and said I could start January 2025. Seemed reasonable as they had never brought up any date of starting and we had to start somewhere but I mentioned I was open to their ideas on all fronts. Never heard back from anyone. Not sure if they expected I should just take their first offer but I did not understand why they just cut me loose just stating my January date did not work. No offer of any other date and I said back in the email I was flexible on that. . It is normal to communicate back and forth when a job offer is made so both parties are amenable. I have never known anyone just to jump at the first offer. If they did not like the date I gave they should have proposed another as I was open. I am not sure if it is the fact I brought up the 125,000 salary but I had told them this even prior to the first interview I needed this salary as of the level of job was higher as well as the cost of living in their area. So that should not have been offensive. I have no idea but hope they find the right candidate they need. It is a good company but I rate the interview experience neutral as I feel the lack of Communication was unprofessional and I feel they just expected me to jump on their first offer and not ask some questions.

Technical Coding Presentation Behavioral

I went through 5 interview rounds in total. The first was an online test with MCQs. The second was a technical round (TR) where I had to code. The next rounds were part of a pool drive, which I attended at another college. There, they held a presentation round (the third round). After that, selected students moved on to the HR interview (the fourth round). About a week later, I received an email for the final round, a psychometric test. Every round was an elimination round. Sadly, I didn't make it past the final round.
