The interview process had 5 rounds in total. It started with a Written Test that covered Technical and Aptitude topics. This was followed by two Technical Interviews and then an HR Interview. After passing the HR round, the final interview was with the Korean Director, which is a mandatory step for all Hyundai Mobis applicants. The first round is quite easy if you have basic Engineering knowledge (Electronics & C) and Aptitude. The second round involved writing simple C code and answering basic engineering questions. The third round was more challenging than the second, and you had to be very careful with your answers because they would probe deeply into all topics, including those you're good at. They assessed your thinking process, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities. The HR interview focused on personal information, interests, goals, and discussed company values and culture. By then, I felt I had been selected. The final round was with the Korean Director, who was interviewing for the Mechatronics department, specifically for candidates with Embedded Systems knowledge. There were six people, all my friends, in the conference room. He randomly assigned two of us a topic (three topics in total for all six students) and asked us to give a short oral presentation.

I got the offer through campus placement. The first step was resume screening. Then there was a 1-hour online test. If selected, the next round was the first personal interview, which lasted 40-45 minutes and covered basic core knowledge and some technical questions. After that, there was a presentation round where we were given topics related to our branch or new technologies. The presentation had a maximum of 4 slides (Intro, Description, detailed info, future use/value). The panel cross-questioned us on the topic after the presentation. Finally, an HR call concluded the process. The presentation and HR rounds were offline, while the others were online. For preparation, I'd strongly recommend a detailed review of your core electronics or mechanical basics and some basic programming knowledge.
