The interview process took about 6 weeks from when I applied to the final interview. It started with a recruiter call, then I had interviews with peers, and finally with the hiring leader. The recruiter was good with communication, even though the hiring team had some scheduling conflicts. Everyone was nice and friendly during the whole thing.

The whole thing took about an hour. I was pretty nervous but the interviewers were nice and made me feel more comfortable. I didn't really keep track of the exact number of questions, but I'd guess there were around 15. It felt like each person asked at least 3 questions, and there were about 5 rounds total.

My interview process started with a recruiter from HR calling me to discuss my resume and gauge my interest in the role. This initial 30-minute conversation led to scheduling an interview with an Accounting Manager, which happened a week later and lasted about an hour. During this meeting, we discussed my background, experience, HCA's operations, their accounting systems, and the business itself in a pretty conversational manner. A week after that, I interviewed with the Controller for another hour-long, conversational session. The following day, I was prompted to formally apply online, after which a background check was initiated. About a week later, I received the offer letter.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • Can you define controls?
  • Describe a situation where you had to resolve a conflict.
