Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Hyundai Capital America.
Analyst
So I went through 4 rounds of interviews, but unfortunately, I didn't pass. It started with a phone interview with HR, then two interviews with sector managers, and finally, an onsite interview. The whole process took about 2 months, and after the last round, they let me know I didn't make it.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- What sparked your interest in this role?
Analyst
So there were like 4 steps in the interview process. It started with a call from HR or a recruiter. Then, there were two phone interviews, one with the hiring manager for the team and another with someone else on the team. The final step was a panel interview where I met with four important people.
- Can you describe the company's current situation and its future direction for the team?
- Share examples of how you've solved problems in past roles and suggest improvements for Hyundai's current state.
Analyst
First, there's a recruiter call to screen you. If that goes well, you'll have an in-person meeting with the business unit manager you'd be working for. After that, HR will get in touch with the final hiring details.
- Describe a time you dealt with a difficult customer.
