Customer Success Consultant
The selection process was surprisingly demanding and not very transparent. My experience was, to say the least, disconcerting. After several interviews and reaching the final stage, I was asked to prepare five practical cases with very specific analyses, figures, operational scenarios, and a detailed presentation. This involved several days of real, in-depth work, practically equivalent to the kind of analysis normally done in a professional project. After all that work, and after receiving positive feedback on my profile, the process suddenly stopped due to a supposed advanced French requirement. The odd thing is: this point had been discussed previously without it being presented as an exclusionary requirement. The offer is still posted on several platforms. French is not indicated as a requirement in the job description. Another striking detail is that before doing the exercises, they ask you to sign documentation and prior agreements, which inevitably makes you wonder what happens to all the material, analyses, and proposals developed during the process. When candidates are asked to prepare such specific cases, with metrics, scenarios, and very specific operational questions, it's hard not to wonder about the final destination of all that work when the process ends so unexpectedly. I can't say what the intention behind these types of dynamics is, but I can say that, from the candidate's perspective, the feeling left is that a considerable amount of professional time and effort has been dedicated to a process whose real requirements were not clear from the beginning. In a context where more and more companies are asking for complex exercises that require several days of work, it would be reasonable to expect absolute transparency about key requirements from the very first moment. Because when that doesn't happen, the impression inevitably remains that some selection processes end up looking too much like something else.

Backend Engineer
Rh got in touch, we scheduled the first chat with the hiring manager, a talk about career, challenges, expectations for the company. After that, a technical talk where an architecture challenge was presented, and how to solve certain problems, in addition to technical questions and experiences. After this stage, there was a cultural fit chat with HR, and in the end, they asked for salary expectations. I even signed a conflict of interest agreement and all that. I understood I would receive an offer, but a month later, I kept getting generic responses from HR when I asked for an update. Something must have happened, but I never got a response, neither positive nor negative, so I took it as a rejection.
- In a given situation, which design pattern would you choose for refactoring code?
Assistant
I recently went through a hiring process at Hotmart and was super happy with how it all went. From the first chat with Talent Acquisition to talking with the hiring manager, everyone was really respectful, attentive, and empathetic. We had a great discussion about the job's main challenges and what they're looking for. I also got a better sense of the company's daily life and how English is used. Honestly, it was the most human and welcoming process I've ever been through. Both the recruiter and the manager were empathetic, organized, and showed real respect for me as a professional. A really positive experience!
- What motivated you to apply for this role and how do you see yourself contributing to the team?
Product Designer
The Hotmart hiring process was a good experience. The recruitment was well-organized, with clear stages and a quick pace, which made it easy for me to participate. The team's communication was efficient throughout, and I was always treated professionally and respectfully. Even though the final outcome wasn't what I hoped for, I'm left with a good impression of the company. The way everything was handled shows seriousness and alignment with Hotmart's values. I appreciate the opportunity and the care taken during the selection. I'd recommend this company to other professionals looking for opportunities. It was a consistent and transparent process.
- If you had to handle several urgent projects at the same time, how would you go about prioritizing and structuring your work?
