I went through 3 interviews and thought they all went super well. I really vibed with the senior manager in the third one and we had a great chat. He even said I was moving on to the next step because our conversation was so good. But then.. I got ghosted and never heard back. Total waste of my time, especially after being told I was progressing.

I found out about this job through a referral from an acquaintance, who put me in touch with one of the CxOs. The interview itself felt off because the interviewer seemed uninterested, making it unwelcoming and unprofessional. After the interview, I had a homework assignment which I completed on time. However, after submitting it, there was absolutely no communication from the CxO, even when I tried to follow up. This lack of communication and respect for my time was disappointing.

The interview process involved some basic questions about my past experience. They really dug into whether I had previously reported against KPIs, and I was upfront about not having a clear way to justify that I had. Despite that, I got the job because I showed a lot of enthusiasm and had experience in other important business areas. I've been here for several years now. There was also a significant focus on accounting principles, but it was all material covered in school. They also asked classic interview questions like asking me to describe a time I solved a problem.

  • Could you share an instance where you successfully resolved an issue?
  • Describe a situation where you exceeded expectations in your role.
