Technical

The interview process at FullStack Labs is straightforward and well-structured. It consists of a technical assessment designed to evaluate your skills in depth — yes, it's challenging, but that's exactly what makes it rewarding. One of the highlights is that candidates have the opportunity to complete certifications in their areas of expertise throughout the process, which adds real value to your professional profile. It may feel demanding at times, but crossing the finish line brings a genuine sense of accomplishment — because you know you've earned your place at a company that sets the bar high technically. That standard isn't a barrier; it's a reflection of the quality of the team you'd be joining

I was asked to complete a very long technical challenge, not that complex, but very long. Then the recruiter told me they had made a mistake and I had to do it again. The second time I had to do it again, I rejected it, as it had taken me at least a week to complete it. I am sure that what they get from the technical challenges they later use for their own projects. If not, explain how they wanted to profit from my work and productions when interviewing. They are a shame. Be very careful with this company, please.

Technical Coding Behavioral

The process included an initial interview to check English and communication skills. Then there was a code challenge with a screen recording to assess abilities by fixing broken boilerplate code and adding unit tests. The challenge was timed at 1 hour, but penalties applied after that time, making it difficult to achieve a high score even with good code, as it took me 1h40m to finish. I was given a second chance after complaining, but still faced issues with the boilerplate. This was followed by an interview with client-facing team members who lacked detailed project information. Despite this, an offer was extended and accepted. Later that day, a meeting was requested but couldn't be accommodated. The next day, I was informed the position was canceled as the client withdrew. There was also an attempt to lower the initial salary offer before it was finalized, which was already considered low for the company and market, especially for a US-based client.

Behavioral Technical

Total waste of time. The initial screener could barely speak English and refused to disclose compensation details, saying it would be shared in later stages if applicable. They emphasized that the role isn't truly a leadership position but more of a sales role. Following this, candidates were required to complete lengthy and outdated assessments, widely considered ineffective, before even getting a chance to speak with a hiring manager. Ultimately, a rejection email was sent without any explanation. If their recruitment process is this flawed, one can only imagine what working there is like.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Would you be comfortable with a management position that involves direct client sales for at least half the time?
