First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Frank Rimerman and Co LLP.
Intern
The interview was pretty laid back and lasted around 30 minutes. The main things they asked about were why I was interested in accounting, why I chose this particular company, and to tell them a bit about myself. The recruiter was really friendly and did a good job of keeping things casual during our chat.
- Could you tell me a bit about yourself?
- What is your motivation for pursuing accounting?
- What led you to choose this company?
Rotational Intern
The interview was pretty relaxed, with no technical questions. They were more interested in how personable you are, asking things like 'tell me about yourself' and 'why accounting and why this company?'. You should expect about 2 or 3 interviews, starting with a recruiter and then moving on to someone more senior.
- What makes you want to join this company?
Office Support Associate
I applied on Indeed and heard back from them after two weeks. My first interview was with the office manager, where they asked general questions and looked for customer service experience. I followed up after five business days, but there was no update. I followed up again, and they said they needed more time to review candidates and would keep me informed. After another week with no update, I realized I wasn't selected.
- Could you tell me about your strengths?
- Please share an example of a problem you solved.
Rotational Associate
It was pretty good. I got connected to a recruiter through my college. I didn’t know about them before, but was pointed towards them from a recent grad. I really liked them from what I got to see and applied through their website. I got an interview and had a lot of fun. They don’t ask you the typical questions, it’s more about finding out what makes you tick. I was pretty nervous and all, but they always kept me calm. This interview was split into 2 30-min slots and the two were a recruiter and a senior-level employee, I was shocked to see how hands are they are with the recruiting process. It showed me how involved they were and wanted to invest for the new blood coming in. It was a fairly painless and enjoyable time.
- What are your career aspirations for the next five years?
