First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Frank Rimerman and Co LLP.

I had all my interviews online. The first round was with the recruiter. The second round was a meeting with an associate, senior, manager, and partner. It was easy and just consisted of getting to know you type of questions. I don't recall any behavioral questions.

Had two rounds of interviews. The first was a 20-minute chat with a recruiter, where they asked standard questions and answered my queries. Received an email about 3-4 days later to schedule the second round. The second round was a half-day event at the SJ office. Started with a recruiting manager who gave me a booklet about the company and process, which I really liked. Then, a tax senior manager conducted a 30-minute interview that felt like a casual conversation. After that, an associate and a senior tax associate took me to lunch, which was a bit awkward for me but informative. Finally, I interviewed with an audit partner, where I mostly asked the questions. The recruiting manager said I'd hear back the following week, but I got the offer the next day and accepted it after the weekend.
- What is your reason for pursuing accounting?
- What makes you want to transition from your present role?
- Can you explain your motivation for choosing accounting?

First, I had an on-campus interview with a partner which was very conversational. Then, I was flown out to San Francisco for in-office interviews. The company culture was great, and the people at all levels were very laid back. There weren't any standard interview questions, just a couple about myself, mostly conversational. Overall, I had a lot of face time with other staff. The in-office interviews included one partner and one senior manager.
- What's your reason for wanting to be in the Bay Area?
