First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Frank Rimerman and Co LLP.
Tax Associate
I had a skype interview with a recruiter. She asked me questions about school, like why I chose it, what my goals were, and if I was more into tax or audit. I think there were about 3 or 4 questions, and then the rest of the time was for my questions. Not really behavioral questions, she didn't even ask me to tell her about myself. She was nice, but I didn't make it past the first round. The next step would have been going into the office.
- Can you tell me why you selected your college?
- Why did you choose that particular school?
- What are your career goals?
Tax Associate
There were two interviews. The first one was about 30 minutes long and was mainly with the recruiter. The second interview was an hour and a half and involved three different interviewers at different levels: a senior associate, a manager, and a partner.
- Could you tell us a bit about yourself?
- What motivated your decision to choose our firm?
Tax Associate
Had some basic personality questions. Then I had a one-on-one interview with a partner. They mostly focused on my resume, asked about my previous work experience, and that was pretty much it.
- What motivated your decision to pursue accounting
