I had an interview with HR that went well. Then, I was supposed to have two Teams interviews with the Hiring Manager, but they didn't show up for either. It was a complete waste of my time. The first time, HR apologized and rescheduled, but the Hiring Manager didn't show up again. I don't know why it happened – maybe miscommunication or an emergency. I reached out to HR but haven't heard back. I was really interested in this role at Fluke and excited about the opportunity. Unfortunately, this whole experience has put me off Fluke as a company.

The interview process was really long, taking about 4 months. First, HR called to get my details. After a lot of chasing, I heard back 15 days later. Then it took another week to set up the next interview. In the second month, the assistant manager interviewed me. Again, it took 15-20 days for feedback. In the third month, the Head of Department interviewed me after I completed a test case. Feedback came another 15-20 days later. The Director's round was in the fourth month. After that, I had to chase them for feedback, and a month later, HR said the director hired someone he knew. So, it felt like a waste of time, testing my patience for 4 months, and ultimately no job offer.

The interview process had 3 main parts. First, a recruiter call to see if I was a good culture fit and to talk about myself and why I wanted the job. Then, an interview with the Hiring Manager that was more technical and focused on the job description requirements. If you know what you're applying for and have the qualifications, it wasn't too hard. Finally, I met with 3 current employees. Each meeting was 45 minutes long. One was a technical interview with a coding question at the end. Another focused on team culture, and the last one was about my problem-solving skills. My advice: be positive, explain your thought process, and review the job description details.

Behavioral Presentation

I've interviewed twice for Fluke in two different departments within the last year. My first experience was bad because they never got back to me. It took two weeks from the final interview and it was a generic 'no' from a recruiter. My second interview experience was much better and started off great. However, during three of the conversations, I was asked specific questions about new ideas/programs/software that I would use within this role. At the time of the interview, I felt that I was speaking to the ideas I would bring to the role. However, after, it was made clear that this was more transactional. I feel that they used me for the ideas and then will have whomever else implement them. (Two of the panelists had even admitted to researching one of the ideas). They are extremely particular about the STAR method, even though not everyone in the interview process will say so. I went through 3 interviews before they said that's how they were to record each of the questions they asked. Thankfully I was told much sooner about their decision on this role.
