Marketing Manager
A recruitment agency contacted me for an interview with Fluke. The interviewers were pleasant, but they asked challenging questions, such as what I would do in certain situations at their company. While company politics vary, I did my best to answer, and they kindly mentioned there isn't a single correct answer.
- How would you evaluate the success of a marketing campaign?
Digital Marketing Manager
The interview process was very thorough and professional. Even though interviewing in a virtual manner was unusual, the recruiting team had everything planned perfectly so there were no issues connecting. The entire process included four rounds of interviews, starting with a phone call with the recruiter, followed by a phone call with the hiring manager, a virtual/video meeting with the hiring manager and lastly a virtual/video interview panel with six people for 45 minutes each over two days.
- Can you share an instance where you had to juggle several competing priorities, and how you went about negotiating them with internal stakeholders?
Field Marketing Manager
My initial HR call was pleasant and they seemed to think my background was a good fit for the role. Then I spoke with the hiring manager. He seemed unprepared, as if he hadn't reviewed my resume at all. He asked me to walk through my experience. When I started talking about a job from 15 years ago, he interrupted and told me to start from when I graduated college and to state the year.
- Could you share the year you graduated from college?
