I applied for a Senior Administration Specialist role at DHL Freight and Forwarding. The interview process had two parts. First, I spoke with the HR Manager, which was a pretty standard and relevant interview about my experience and skills. But the second round was a total letdown. Having the CFO on the panel, who clearly didn't know much about HR, didn't make sense to me as an HR professional. The questions were all over the place and the whole thing felt disorganized. In short, the interview process lacked structure and professionalism. If you're looking into HR jobs here, expect a confusing and annoying experience.

I had scheduled my interview with Gi Group's HR for October 30, 2024. The HR kept emphasizing how serious the company is and its internal structure and organization. However, on October 29, 2024, around 4 PM, I received this message from the HR: 'Hi, I am immensely sorry to deliver this news, but DHL Global contacted me informing me that at the last minute, a job change was approved for their search. They decided to focus on a field sales role and no longer on a key account figure, which changed everything. Therefore, I am obligated to cancel tomorrow's interview. Please forgive the very short notice, but it's not up to me.' So, I believe this message truly reflects the seriousness and structure of DHL GLOBAL in Italy.
