Behavioral

The interview process started with a recruiter call that was really unprofessional. The recruiter mumbled and repeated herself a lot, seemed distracted, and presented the job negatively by focusing on the low base salary ($55k). She did mention the full OTE and monthly commission payouts later, which was better. The role was described as hybrid with a 7am-7:30am start, requiring 4 deals per month with a 3-month ramp-up on 100% outbound. The call lasted 30 minutes. She said the next step would be to meet two managers and promised to follow up by a specific date. She never did. Five days later, I reached out and got an out-of-office reply saying she was on vacation for two weeks. The backup contact said the hiring managers were also out for weeks and they weren't sure if the position was still open. I was told they'd contact me when they had info. Three weeks after that, I got a generic rejection email. It seemed like a blessing, as I wouldn't reapply or recommend it.

Behavioral Presentation

A Demandforce recruiter reached out to me about the position. First, I had a phone interview with her, followed by a second phone interview. After that, I was invited to their SF office to meet with two people. During the in-person meeting, I spoke with the first person, who informed me I'd need to do a mock sales phone call. I wasn't prepared for this as the recruiter didn't mention it beforehand, possibly because she wasn't aware. The interviewer explained the sales scenario very quickly, giving me less than five minutes to think. This made me quite flustered, so definitely be ready for a mock sales call and you should be fine!

Behavioral Technical Other

The interview process started with a 15-20 minute phone interview where I was told to be energetic and engaged. After that, I was invited for an in-person interview. The in-person interview started off okay but then turned negative. One of the sales managers was unprofessional and belittling, scoffing at my interest in the sales team. She seemed to decide she didn't want to hire me early on, which affected her interactions. Overall, the company seemed unprofessional, and given the tech job market in the Bay Area, there are likely better opportunities elsewhere.

Behavioral Technical Case Presentation

I talked to a recruiter at a career fair and then had a phone interview. It was pretty standard, covering my resume and asking why I want to do sales. Then, they scheduled an in-person interview at their really nice San Francisco office. It's got a cool startup vibe with dogs and music. I got a tour and then met with three different LDR Managers for different divisions. They asked similar questions like 'Tell me about yourself' and 'Have you cold-called before?' They stressed being competitive but also a team player! In the second interview, I did a mock call, and the interviewer gave me tips since I don't have much sales experience. They provided a lot of helpful feedback afterward. I got the offer from one of the managers less than a week later.
