The welcome was very good. The interviewer was passionate about the company Delhaize and its values. He was honest and direct, which might make shy people uncomfortable because he's very fast-paced and to the point. He doesn't beat around the bush and knows what he's looking for and what he doesn't want. He seemed benevolent towards his employees.

When I decided to apply at Delhaize in Antwerp, I started through the official job site. I created a profile, filled in my details, and added my resume and cover letter. The whole process went pretty smoothly and was clear. Within a few days, I got a first response by email, confirming my application was well received. Shortly after, there was a phone screening, where an employee asked a few questions about my availability, motivation, and previous work experience. Then, I was invited for an interview in the store itself, where I met the manager. The conversation was in an open and friendly atmosphere, which immediately put me at ease. What I noticed was that the process didn't take unnecessarily long: within about a week, I had clarity. For me, this gave confidence in Delhaize's professionalism and their respect for the candidate.

Tenslotte een gesprek met N+2 over je kennis, voorbeeldsituaties, en je manier van werken.

It was a casual, friendly, and professional interview. We talked directly and honestly. The job requirements and timelines were explained very well. The manager wanted a long-term commitment to an interim position.
