The whole process from first contact to the offer was pretty smooth. I had two one-hour chats with different people on the team, including my potential manager and a senior project manager. Both chats covered some typical interview questions and also discussed my past work experience. Throughout the process, they kept me updated, so I always knew what was coming next and when to expect news.

The interview process was formal yet relaxed. I was asked questions about my previous work experience and specific examples of work I'd done. There was a panel of 4 interviewers and it lasted about an hour. They were very attentive and asked all the relevant questions. Overall it was a very positive experience and the conversation flowed easily and in a friendly manner.

The interview process was lengthy and felt disorganized, with many people who have been with the company for a long time conducting interviews. I'm not sure if that's a good sign. It gives the impression that it might be an unstable job where you could be laid off and easily replaced.

I was first contacted by a recruiter partner from Airswift representing DCP Midstream via LinkedIn. They explained the role and what it's like working there. After a few phone calls with the recruiter, I had two virtual interviews directly with the hiring manager and the team. The interviews were very professional and well-run. They focused on getting to know me, my past work, and my skills. There were many technical questions, but they weren't overly difficult. The entire process spanned about 3-4 weeks, and I kept in touch with my recruiter for updates. While I interviewed with other companies where the process felt impersonal, the DCP Midstream interview and onboarding experience was smooth and painless.

  • Can you introduce yourself and explain your motivation for leaving your present job?
  • What makes you want to move on from your current employer?
