Tive o contato com o recrutador. Ele foi prestativo, mas a conexão estava ruim e precisei pedir para repetir várias vezes. Recebi o convite para agendar o contato 3 dias após me inscrever, e a recusa veio no dia seguinte. Fizeram perguntas focadas em ferramentas em vez de processos. Buscam alguém que use MadCap Flare, que não é comum no Brasil. Perguntaram sobre ASCII, que não estava na descrição da vaga. Questionaram também se eu usava Glean. A conversa durou 13 minutos e logo percebi que não era um bom fit para eles.

I went through three rounds of job interviews. The first was a phone call with a recruiter, and then I had two interviews with different team members. Each of these technical interviews lasted about an hour and a half and included some technical questions, but the people interviewing me were mostly product owners, developers, and project managers, not designers. In the final round, I was unexpectedly asked to create wireframes for a concept they provided, which surprised me and felt disrespectful because I wasn’t prepared for that. After the last round, I waited almost two weeks for feedback and received a standard rejection email, without any replies to my emails. This felt dismissive, especially given the time and effort I put into the process.

So, I had an interview scheduled, but it got rescheduled because the interviewer's internet was bad. Wasted my hour. Then, the second time, they didn't even show up. I had to contact HR, and she set up another interview. They didn't ask for my ID this time, but they did the first time. The interviewer asked me stuff from basic to advanced, and I answered everything. They gave me a coding challenge, which I also finished. After about 45 minutes, they said HR would contact me. But almost immediately, my application status changed to 'No Longer Process.' They really wasted my time. If they found someone else, they should have just said so politely.

The overall process was pretty smooth, though it did take a bit longer than expected. I went through three rounds of interviews. First, there was a basic screen with a Tech Recruiter to check my English and make sure my experience aligned with what they were looking for. Then, I had a long technical interview where they asked around 20 questions focusing on my past experience and technical skills. The final round was with a Director and a Software Manager, and it was more focused on behavioral aspects, like how I'd handle different situations, my preferred working style with colleagues, and how I approach learning new things.
