Project Manager
I was contacted by an internal recruiter, then had an online interview, and finally a face-to-face interview. For the in-person one, I spent £35 on travel and it took two hours to get to the client’s office. It was more like a casual chat about my background and experience. The hiring manager said my experience matched the role well. After a few weeks of no updates, I had to chase the recruiter multiple times via messages and emails. They eventually responded saying they'd chosen someone else. I found the process unprofessional and Cheil should be more considerate of candidates’ time and effort.
- Could you please introduce yourself and share some details about your background?
Account Supervisor
I got a LinkedIn message from a recruiter about the role since I had experience leading the same program at another agency. After a long silence, I got an email to set up interviews. The HR person forgot about our first call and was late to the rescheduled one. She didn't seem to know much about my background even though I sent my resume and portfolio. We talked about compensation, and I'm not sure if they pay less or if she just wanted to end the call. She said I might be better for a Director role, but none were open. She asked me to reformat my resume for the Group Account Director and cancelled my account team interview. I sent the resume right after and never heard back.
- Can you tell me about your background?

- Do you have any digital experience?
UI Designer
The interview was kinda weird. There were two interviewers, one of whom didn't smile or introduce themselves, and the other didn't turn their camera on or introduce themselves either. They seemed to lose interest when I started talking about my portfolio. Honestly, it felt like a place with unfriendly bosses and coworkers. On top of that, after the interview, HR completely ghosted me – no response, no feedback, nothing. This lack of communication made me even more sure I didn't want to work here, since I really value clear and respectful communication in the hiring process.
- Have you had any prior experience with analytics?
