Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Cheil.
Copywriter
It was pretty straightforward. First, there was a screening call with HR, then an interview with the Account Manager and the team. After I accepted the offer that HR extended, they sent over the paperwork for me to complete. The whole thing went by pretty quickly and smoothly.

Copywriter
We asked about copywriting experience, emphasizing that it's not just about the writing itself but the thinking behind it. The interviewer was very open and honest about what the company expects, so we were encouraged to be upfront and share our past projects.
- Can you share your experience in copywriting?
Content Developer
I applied through a recruiter and the whole thing took about a month. I interviewed at Cheil in April 2018. It started with a phone screening, then an interview at the consultancy office, and if I passed those, there were two more rounds at Cheil's office. The two rounds at their office were pretty normal, and the interviewers were really nice. Overall, it was an amazing experience.
- Can you answer some basic questions about web development to give us an idea of your skills?
- Are you a good fit for the company? We'll ask some behavioral questions to find out.
