I was contacted by an internal recruiter, then had an online interview, and finally a face-to-face interview. For the in-person one, I spent £35 on travel and it took two hours to get to the client’s office. It was more like a casual chat about my background and experience. The hiring manager said my experience matched the role well. After a few weeks of no updates, I had to chase the recruiter multiple times via messages and emails. They eventually responded saying they'd chosen someone else. I found the process unprofessional and Cheil should be more considerate of candidates’ time and effort.

The process included a phone screen with the HR Hiring Manager and/or the team. The offer process was efficient and informative. The team was responsive, and I was kept in the loop every step of the way. It's a global, diverse team with a very entrepreneurial spirit.

Group Presentation

I interviewed with Cheil London for an entry-level Project Manager role. It was a graduate recruitment day, not 1-on-1 interviews. We were split into groups and each had a Cheil team leader. We were told there were only 3-5 spots and we'd be judged on group activities. They said everyone would get feedback within two weeks, but no one followed up. I had to chase them for an update, even though I traveled from Devon and spent about £200 on travel and accommodation. They didn't even respond, which felt unprofessional and disappointed me.
