It was a group interview. They wanted to know about my customer service experience, then asked about my experience using a cash register, and finally about any retail experience I might have. It was a pretty casual "get to know you" kind of interview.

It was easy! More of a relaxed chat to know about my family environment, previous opportunities, and experiences. How I work in a team, if I'm sociable, and how I treat customers. The manager makes us feel very comfortable.

It was a quick, casual chat. They asked straightforward questions that were easy to answer. Much of the conversation focused on my previous retail work and my education related to preventing losses, managing the sales floor, and arranging employee schedules. They were upfront about the salary and working hours. While I didn't struggle with most of their queries, having prior retail experience certainly helped.

Confirmed questions6 questions
  • Can you share your experience with scheduling both part-time and full-time staff?
  • Do you have any background in retail that you can tell me about?
  • What's your education regarding loss prevention?

They make you go to their stores and report on their products, basically stealing your ideas without payment. I spent a full day at the store and another full day writing the report. The local feedback was okay, but then it went to Michael Gold in Canada. The interview has been pending since April, and it's now September! They ghosted me after saying they'd contact me in a few weeks. I found a much better job, but I'd tell you to avoid this company.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Visit their stores and prepare a trendy report on their products.
