I applied online and then met the District Manager at one of their stores. It was a pretty standard interview that went for about an hour and a half. They asked a lot of questions about specific numbers and metrics from my previous job. One bummer was that at the very end, the DM mentioned another store manager might be transferring in, which made me feel like maybe my time talking with her was a bit of a waste.

Behavioral Technical

I applied for the Store Manager position online and sent my resume to the District Manager. When I didn't hear back, I reapplied through the corporate website and got an interview pretty quickly. The interviewer was running late and mixed me up with someone else. I felt like I did well and was confident I'd at least be considered for Assistant Manager. I never heard back from anyone.

I first talked to the district manager, then the store manager. Got a phone offer about a week later. The store manager interview felt really unplanned. She didn't know my name or have my resume, just a blank sheet. She didn't ask much and seemed surprised I only had a few questions. The district manager was really nice and friendly, though.
