So I interviewed with CeX in Dover and it was a really bad experience. I got there early, like 15 minutes early, but then they told me the interview was at a Costa nearby. They never told me this before, and I didn't have a number for them, so it was hard to find them and I was stressed when I got there. The interview was in a super busy and loud coffee shop, so it was hard to hear and focus. They started asking questions right away, no time to chill, and it was super fast, only a few minutes. They didn't seem to care much and didn't write anything down. It was just messy and not professional. It was tough for me because I need clear instructions and a calmer space (due to neurodivergency). They should really get better at telling people where to go, maybe in a quieter place so everyone can access it and feel included. Also, give people a minute to settle and make the interview more organized and interesting.

It was a good and smooth process. First, an HR round where we discussed basic details about me and my communication skills. Then a technical round to assess my knowledge of the profile. The final round was with the Head of Department where we discussed salary, company policy, leaves, festival holidays, and vouchers.

The interview process was pretty standard, I got an automatic invite through Indeed for an interview at 4:30 on a Friday. The main issue I had was that after the interview, I was completely ghosted. They said I'd hear back on Monday after they had the weekend to think. I sent a follow-up message, but still heard nothing. Over a week later, I went to the store and found out that the person who interviewed me no longer worked there, they don't inform unsuccessful candidates, and the hiring process was over. So, my advice is to apply only if you're okay with being ghosted and disrespected if you're not successful, otherwise, stay away. I found it really rude not to be told either way after a 30-minute in-person interview.

I'm not really sure about how the QA manager felt in the last interview round. It felt like they had already made up their mind about me before I even started. But I answered everything well. After the interview, the manager mentioned I should have done an automation interview, which they didn't mention beforehand. It was a let down because it wasn't what I expected from a big MNC.
